In -16 (8 X 12.5), green calfskin, double gilt fillet, cold serrated plate on the covers, in the center a gilt iron of a bust of a soldier in armor, back decorated with small mosaic pieces, gilt edges.

Binding signed “Simier Relieur du Roi”

First tiny edition printed by Didot and financed by Joaquin Maria Ferrer.

Illustrated with a portrait of the author, a frontispiece title engraved on wood,

8 plates out of text, a double-page map of Don Quixote's travels.
